My name’s Dan and as you can see I’m running the 2012 Bristol 10k for a charity called BRACE. BRACE fund research into alzheimer’s disease, which affects many people worldwide especially as people are living longer. It can be a devastating illness to endure for both the victim and the family, but it doesn’t need to be. More research into alzheimer’s disease means we can get even closer to better treatments for it.
Last year I ran the 10k with a group of four friends, one of which also ran for BRACE (George) and helped me to raise £647. I completed the run in 1 hour 1 minute and 50 seconds, and intend to do better this time!
